Katherine Zucht

Katherine Zucht (nee Folk) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Saturday, August 1st, 2009 at Pioneer Lodge, after a brief battle with cancer. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 7th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave. N.W, Moose Jaw, Sask. Father Neil Osiowy will be presiding celebrant and interment will take place at St. Ignatius Cemetery, at Sinnett, Sask., at a later date. Prayers will be held on Thursday, August 6th, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Church. Katherine was predeceased by her husband Robert, her son Phillip and her daughter Elaine. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Gerald (Jean) Zucht of Cobble Hill, B.C., Judy Zucht of Saskatoon, Sk., JoyceZucht of Edmonton, Ab., Della Bennett of Moose Jaw, Sk., and Kathleen (Kirby) Engele, of Regina, Sk.; grandchildren Trina (Kyle) Hemmerling of McAlister, Ok., Tyler (Sharon) Zucht of Kamloops, B.C., Chris Wendel of Cobble Hill, B.C., Stacy Bennett of Moose Jaw, Sk., and Jadi and Derek Engele of Regina, Sk.; great grandchildren Kade & Keira Hemmerling and Haydon Zucht; and daughter-in-law Mary Ann Zucht of Regina, Sk. Katherine was born at Sec. 17 Twp 16 Rg 27 West of 3rd, near Richmound, Saskatchewan on July 3rd, 1931. Her true passion in life was always her family. Memorial donations in Katherine’s name may be made to Cosmopolitan Industries of Saskatoon, Sk. or the Canadian Cancer Society.
