Wendy Leigh Worke

Wendy Leigh Worke, aged 58 years of Moose Jaw, SK. and formerly of High River, AB., passed away October 13th, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer with her husband and her two daughters by her side.  A Time of Fellowship for relatives and friends will be held on Saturday, October 16th, 2010 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, 1755 Main St. N., Moose Jaw, SK.  Also, a Time of Fellowship will be held in High River, AB. at a later date.  Wendy was born in High River, AB. and graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Education Degree.  Wendy married Dave on April 17th, 1976 and together they raised two daughters.  They moved to Saskatchewan in 1978.  Wendy loved looking after her family and especially spoiling her two new grandsons.  Wendy was very proud to be a school teacher.  Wendy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 34 years, Dave; 2 daughters, Michelle (Phil) Heustis and Tanya (Alan) Ross; and numerous other relatives and friends.  No flowers please.  Donations may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK.
