James Franklin Winter

James Franklin Winter passed away on Thursday, November 24th, 2016 at the age of 82 years.  He was born February 4th, 1934 on the Winter farm.  It was an unusually warm winter that year as water was running down the hill.  James was raised on the farm at Coronach, SK.  In 1966, he married Lorene Bergen.  They had 4 children: Anne Marie, David (Lisa), Sonja (Robert Cumming) and Eldon (Tammy).  Jim and Lorene retired in Moose Jaw, SK.  He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, 4 children, and 18 grandchildren.  A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 26th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Coronach, SK.  A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Friday, November 25th, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
