Warren Wilson
Mr. Warren Wilson, passed away peacefully on August 21st, 2015 surrounded by his family members. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 25th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Cheryl Thul officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Warren was born at Mawer, Sk., on March 31st, 1923. He married Joyce Wylie on February 26th, 1946. They farmed at Mawer until they retired in 1985 and moved to Moose Jaw. Joyce passed away in 1992 and Warren married Gwyneth Bligh in 1996 who passed away in 2014. Warren belonged to many organizations throughout his 92 years. He enjoyed many camping trips and holidays, including Hawaii and Arizona. Family was very important to him. Warren had a great sense of humour and everyone always enjoyed being around him. He had a great love for playing cards and games, which brought the family together. Warren was predeceased by his parents Bert and Lois, sisters: Yvonne and Lucille, brothers Gordon and Gerald, first wife Joyce (1992), second wife Gwyneth (2014), son-in-law Dave Bartel. He will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters: Bonnie (Ray), Joan (Gary) and Pat (Greg); his 8 grandchildren: Liana (Gary), Karen (Ken), Shayne, Aaron (Kate), Kimberly (Matt), Alana (Kelly), Nick (Janice) and Angela (Mike); brother Jim (Kay); 17 great-grandchildren; Gwyn’s children, Keith (Carol) and Marg (Mick); 7 grandchildren: Heather (Jason), Kevin (Erin), Karen (Nathan), Cathrine (Brent), Janice (Steve), Marilyn and Brian (Dallas); and 10 great-grandchildren. We gratefully appreciate the nurses and care aides at Providence Place for the care and kindness shown to Warren.
