Thomas Hope Wilson

Thomas Hope Wilson, aged 95 years of the Tugaske District, passed away on July 13th, 2017 in Moose Jaw, SK.  Thomas was born on the family farm at Tugaske and started farming at an early age, and never really retired.  He married Dorothy Deets on July 11th, 1948 and together they raised three children.  He loved to chuck wagon and chariot race and was active in racing until 1997.  Thomas loved his wife and family.  He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Williamina and sister, Edna Coutts.  Thomas will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy; daughter, Marj (Bob) and their children; sons, Gerry and Larry (Brenda) and their two daughters, Twyla (Jason) and Larrissa; great grandchildren, Riely, Shayla and Matthew as well as numerous other relatives.  In keeping with the family’s wishes, a private service will be held.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Thomas’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sask. 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26 Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
