Albert E. Williams

Albert E. Williams passed away on Friday, June 25th, 2010 at his home in Moose Jaw.  Albert was born in Gravelbourg, SK. on November 19th, 1939 to Jake and Anne Williams (predeceased).  Albert (Alby) was the eldest of four children:  Gloria Williams, Dianne (Gary) Heilman and Lois (Ken) Thomson.  Albert grew up in Moose Jaw and attended A.E. Peacock Technical High School.  Albert married Diane in 1967 and had a daughter, Jayda (Justin) Mercier.  Albert will be remembered for his kindness to animals, his love of cars and his dedication to his business, Plains Small Engine.  Albert’s greatest joy came from his two granddaughters, Skye and Summer.  He often had one or the other on his lap reading a story or playing games.  Albert will be forever missed.  “Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever” (Author Unknown).  A special thank you to Dr. Brian Sanderson for his compassionate care over the years.  A Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Memorials to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 2360 – 2nd Avenue, Regina, SK.
