Nancy May Westermann
Nancy May Westermann, aged 69 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, September 24th, 2021 at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Lola Senchuck; brothers, Billy and Fred; and sister, Gail. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Helmut; and children: Cory (Teresa), Clinton, and Nicole (Andrew) Deroose. She will also be lovingly missed by her four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; sisters, April and Fave; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Nancy lived on the farm with her family and married the love of her life, Helmut, in 1970. Together they farmed near Parkbeg, SK before retiring to Moose Jaw in 1998, where they have lived until her passing.
Nancy enjoyed baking and spending time with family. She enjoyed many hours of doing puzzles with Helmut, and loved reading and listening to country music. Most of all, she loved to spend time visiting with her grandbabies.
A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Seaborg officiating. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Nancy’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9. We are all so very sorry for the loss of your Wife, Mom and Grandma.
We regret not being able to travel to Moose Jaw for Nancy’s Celebration of Life but we will all be thinking of you at your sad time of need.
