Helen Beth Walsh

Helen Beth Walsh, aged 88 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Tuesday, December 10th, 2013.  In keeping with Helen’s wishes, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held.  She was predeceased by her husband, Ron.  Helen will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Kevin and Shawn; daughter, Colleen (Dan) Hoppenreys; grandchildren: Celina, Dana (Janice) and Duane (Jess); great-grandchildren, Chloe and Daxton; sister, Faye Ripley; as well as her nieces and nephews.  Helen loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed entertaining especially at Christmas, her favourite holiday.  She was an actress with Little Dinner Theatre in Regina and participated in many other productions.  She loved music.  Her love for sports was evident when the T.V. never changed from the sports channel.  She loved golfing, curling and was passionate about watching the Riders play.  Many hours were spent playing cards with Ron, doing crossword puzzles and reading.  During the summer months she enjoyed spending time at the lake visiting with her sister.  We will miss you.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to The Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund, 268 High St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1S8 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2M2.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
