Ernest Shawn Walsh
It is with great sadness the family of Ernest Shawn Walsh announces his passing in February 2020 at the age of 64 years.
Shawn was born in Regina, SK to Ron and Helen Walsh. He was raised in Moose Jaw, where he spent most of his life. Shawn lived a quiet life. He had a huge heart and always made time for friends and family by lending a listening ear or running small errands. He was an avid sports fan and spent much of his time cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He never gave up on his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, saying this is the year. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ernie and Effie (Spencer) Henderson; father, Ron Walsh; and mother, Helen (Henderson) Walsh. Shawn will be sadly missed by his brother, Kevin Walsh; sister, Colleen (Dan) Hoppenreys; niece, Celina; nephews, Dana (Janice) Hoppenreys and Duane (Jess) Hoppenreys; great-nieces: Chloe, Olivia, and Eden; and great-nephews, Dalton and Dylan.
