Dwaine (Ben) Walsh
Dwaine (Ben) Walsh passed away April 6, 2020. Ben was born in Spy Hill, Sask. to Walter and Lillian Walsh on January 9, 1933. A long-time employee of Sasktel, Ben retired in 1988. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Lillian Walsh; brothers, Morley and Gerry; sisters, Pat and Donna and son, Kevin. He is survived by wife, Marj; son, Dwaine of Burnaby, B.C.; daughter, Karen (Randy) of Kelowna, B.C.; daughter-in-law, Tracey (Jason) of Moose Jaw, SK.; grandchildren: Ky of Vancouver, BC. Sadie of Moose Jaw, SK. and Kali of Moose Jaw, SK. In keeping with Ben’s wishes, a Private Family Service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.

Benny was a great friend of Mom and Pete’s during their years at Sask Tel and someone that we knew from growing up in the neighborhood.
We are very sorry to hear about Benny. I worked with him at Sasktel and he always joking around. Great guy. I’m sure him and Kevin are fishing now. Take care Marj and family. Our thoughts are with you.

Bob and I are so very sad to hear to hear about Benny’s passing.
You all know that he was a favourite of mine having known him and all of you since I can remember.
I have fond memories of him and still smile at the memory of some of my Dad’s stories of Benny’s adventures.
He was one of a kind
Bob knew Benny for many years too.
He often stopped by our shop to say Hello and to have a visit over the years.
Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
I will miss him.
