Alfretta Elizabeth Walsh

Alfretta Elizabeth Walsh, aged 98 years of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away November 4th, 2010.  A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 8th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Reverend Doug Shepherd will officiate and interment will take place in Ogema Cemetery.  She was predeceased by her husband Roy, daughter Jean Walsh, grandsons Gordon West and Larry Wright; sister Estella Goy; daughter-in-law Elsie Walsh; and sons-in-law Tony Wright, Bill Mulligan and Harris Longley.  Alfretta is survived by her children: Jim Walsh and friend Grace of Wainwright, AB., Clara Longley of Ogema, SK., Ruby Mulligan of Chilliwack, BC., Margaret (Jim) West of Ogema, SK., Shirley (Con) Giofu of Moose Jaw, SK. and Judy (Keith) Brandt of Kayville, SK.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister Jean Porritt of Vancouver, BC. and numerous nieces and nephews.  Alfretta was very dedicated to her family and grandchildren and enjoyed all of the activities they were involved in. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and knitting and was a past 4-H Leader and past member of the Rebekahs.  Donations may be made to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, 455 Fairford St. E., Moose Jaw, SK., S6H 1H3.
