His kind, compassionate manner and terrific sense of humour will be greatly missed. Ron was passionate about all animals but especially horses. As a young man he travelled the local fairs working with the Clydesdale horses. He remained involved with horses throughout his life. At the end of his life Ron took great pleasure caring for the family dogs. He was a great fan of hockey, and spent many hours at the rink watching his son and grandsons hockey games. Ron had season tickets for the Moose Jaw Warriors for many years. Throughout Ron’s life his strong Christian faith provided him the strength to cope with numerous health issues and personal losses with a positive attitude. He always said, “I start each day remembering the things I have in my life and not what I don’t have.” At Ron’s request there will be no funeral service. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
