Mary Magdalene Wagner (nee Weisgerber)

Mary celebrated her 95th birthday in her home with family & friends on August 26, 2007. Befitting of her quiet and prayerful nature, Mary went to her Eternal home peacefully, in the early morning of September 28, 2007 her daughter (caregiver) sat by her side.  Mary joined her husband of 69 years, George (April 2006), as well as her daughter, Sr.Lorraine (April 2007). Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children; Tom (Gloria), Caroline Bellrose, Wayne of AB, Marie (Larry) Harding, son-in-law, Del Bellrose, daughter-in-law, Dale Wagner of BC. Grandchildren; Kathy Jo (Barry) Trumbley of BC, Jayne Penn (Dan) of BC, Garth Penn, Sherry (Scott) Simpkins, Kelly (Todd) Lacusta of BC, Randy (Eileen) Wagner of BC, Ted Wagner of BC, Holly (Todd) Beattie, Jerry (Mandy) Bellrose, LeeAnn Wagner, Danny (Julie) Bellrose of BC, Laurel (Scott) Hutchinson of AB, Loreli Harding (Jessie), David (Kelly) Harding of ON as well as numerous  great-grandchildren. Special mention  Sherry Bedwell, Jody Nixon-Gorse and many others that she was a nanny to over the years.  She is survived by her sisters, Tilly Switzer and Loretta (Paul) Spies, Brother in law Walter (Jean) Wagner, and Sister’s in-law Lola Wagner and Wanda Wagner many nieces and nephews, relatives and special friends. Mary was a gentle soul with a kind and loving heart who had a strong, quiet strength about her.  She loved singing, reading and caring for her plants.  Mary treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She looked forward to drop by visits from family members and friends.  The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 4th, 2007 at 11:00 am in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Alex Osei as Presiding Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Carmelites, P.O Box 1896 Moose Jaw, SK.
