AGNES VANGEN (Fjeldberg)
July 12th, 1917 – April 24th, 2014

Agnes Vangen, of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24th, 2014 at the age of 96 years.  She was predeceased by her parents, John and Helga Fjeldberg; brothers: Odd, Donald and John; sisters: Martha, Dorothy, Helene and Joan; and brother-in-law, Maurice Lapaire.  Agnes is survived by her son, Lloyd (Gay) Vangen; grandsons: Lee Vangen (Kylie, Morgan, Rhett and Rhyker), Travis (Donna Hoffman) Vangen (Courtney and Austin Hoffman), and Adam (Stacy) Vangen (Cody and Wade); brother, Art (Rosalie) Fjeldberg; sisters, Ella (William) Ogston and Inga (Gilman) Benson; brothers-in-law, Robert Sangster and George Ciocia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Thank you to Chez Nous and Extendicare for their care and compassion when Agnes was a resident.  The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Agnes’ name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
