Mae Lillian Twasuk
Mae Lillian Twasuk, aged 89 years of Chaplin, Sask., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 22 nd, 2007 at the Central Butte Regency Hospital. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 27 th, 2007 at 2:00 p. m. in the Chaplin Community Complex with Pastor Bill Thomson officiating. Interment will take place at the Chaplin Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Jim Mackie, Jack Wakeford, Gary Hetke, Diana Witt, Michael Parker and Melvin Hallborg. Honourary Pallbearers are all those special people who have shared in Mae’s life. Mae was born on September 21 st, 1917, the first daughter to Albert & Catherine Mason of Uren, where she attended Pine Lake School. Mae moved to Chaplin at age 13 where she started to work for various families, continuing to be an honest hard worker. Mae met Bill Twasuk and together they had four wonderful children; son: Gordon; daughters: Maxine, Leiza and Sharon. Mae was a wonderful and caring woman, who loved and took very good care of her family. Mae enjoyed visiting with her friends and family, entertaining all by her stories and unique mindset in her way in describing the details. Mae was predeceased by her parents; husband Bill, all of her brothers and sister. Mae leaves to mourn her son Gordon; daughters: Maxine (Richard), Leizaand Sharon ; grandchildren: Gary (Tania), Shelley (Michael) and Diana; great-grandchildren: Christopher, Steven, Ryan, Aimee and Kelly and numerous nieces & nephews.
Mae has passed but will always remain in our hearts with loving memories.
