Richard William Turner
Richard William Turner passed away on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016. Richard was born on October 13th, 1926 and was a long-time resident of the Tuxford District. He was predeceased by his wife, Ethel; parents, Richard and Velma Turner; brothers, George and Gordon; and sister, Margaret Drake. Richard is survived by his daughter Gloria (Bill) Stevenson, granddaughters Kelly (Christopher) Stewart and Krista Stevenson (Mike), great-granddaughter Gemma; son David (Bonny), granddaughter Alison (Denis) Toupin, great-grandsons Liam and Ryder, grandson Brian (Alicia), great-grandchildren Braylon, Blake, Brinley, and grandson Russell (Sarah), great-grandchildren Fallyn and Willa; sisters, Irene Hogeland and Viola Smith. Richard is also survived by his wife, Muriel and her family: Linda Care, Donald (Bonnie) Johnston, Debby (Karl) Prosper, Gayle (Bob) Gregorie, Cathy (Steve) Weir, Lorraine (Frank) MacKay, and Duane Johnston (deceased), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and long-time friends. A Graveside Service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Rosedale Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Moose Jaw Funeral Home by 1:00 p.m. for procession to the cemetery. A reception will follow in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s name may be made to Luther Senior Care – attention Kim Willick, 1800 Alexandra Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 3C7.
