Darlene Mary Trumbley (Holt)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Mary Trumbley (Holt) on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at the age of 68 years, after a lengthy battle with COPD.  Darlene was born on February 11th, 1947 in Moose Jaw, SK.  She married Jim on July 3rd, 1973 in Las Vegas and they were married for almost 35 years.  She was predeceased by her father, Alfred Holt; mother, Lilly; husband, James; and grandson, Jordan.  Darlene will be greatly missed by her daughters, Tammy (Chris) and Angela (Clayton); granddaughters, Cheyenne and Cheyla; great-grandsons, James and Hayden; long-time family friend (the son she never had), Jodey Cave; sister, Maureen Gustafson (Bill) and their 7 grandchildren: Samantha, Matt, Bailey, Dylan, Kyle (Donna), Erin and Zach; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  In keeping with Darlene’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Darlene’s name may be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association, Box 58000, Saskatoon, SK S7K 7Y4.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
