Aletha “Lee” Trumbley
Aletha “Lee” Trumbley, of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 at 80 years of age at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Lee was born in Moose Jaw, SK and devoted her life to her family and career as a nurse’s aide at St. Anthony’s Home, and later as a night auditor for the Heritage Inn in Moose Jaw. She enjoyed bingo and socializing with friends and family. She lived a full life and always had a positive outlook and great sense of humour. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Myrtle Howes; brother, Edward Howes; husband, Robert Trumbley; and son, Gerald Trumbley. Lee will be lovingly remembered by her children: Barb (Wayne) Wright, Colleen (Brian) Dancey, Kelly Trumbley, and Pauline (Larry) Briggins; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. At Lee’s request, there will be no funeral service, only a private celebration of her life by her immediate family. Her cremains will be placed with family. Lee’s family would like to give special thanks to Dr. AJ VanHeerden, Dr. Majid, staff of the medical ward and emergency at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, and EMS staff for their many kindnesses and great care given to Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lee’s name may be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association, 1231 8th St E, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5.
