Charles (Charlie) Trew

Charles (Charlie) Trew, aged 88 years of Valley View Center in Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1st, 2018.  Charlie was born in Trewdale, SK.  He moved to Valley View Center when it first opened in 1955, transferring from the Weyburn Hospital.  Charlie was well liked and known for his quirky sense of humour.  He enjoyed the many activities and social life provided by the professional and caring staff.  It was his home for 62 years.  He was predeceased by his parents, Vern and Rosie Trew; and siblings: Iona Wyeth, and David, Wilfred, and Bing; nephew, Lloyd Trew; niece, Doris Sunde; and nephew, Jerome Wyeth.  Charlie is survived by his nieces and nephews: Gladys Pasquet (Rollie), Harry Trew (Valerie), Dale Barnett (Larry), Brenda Kapusta (Roger), Garland Wyeth (Sandra), Shelley Trew, Larry Trew, Heather Trew, Jamie Trew, Vern Trew, Charlotte Kerr, and Allan Trew.  Special thanks to the staff of Valley View Center.  The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Valley View Center Assembly Hall.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
