Donald Tremka, aged 79 years of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away suddenly Monday, November 15th, 2010. In keeping with Don’s wishes, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held. A Time of Fellowship for family and friends will be held at a later date (Saturday, July 2nd, 2011). Don was born in Hawarden, SK. and worked for the CPR for 39 years as a station agent in many Saskatchewan towns and cities, moving to Moose Jaw in 1971 where he worked in the telegraph office until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed his many years at the cottage, fishing and traveling with his wife, Sharon. Don was an accomplished artist and his hobbies included gardening and doing crosswords that kept his mind as sharp as a tack. He was always the first to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. Don was predeceased by his son, Jimmy; his parents and his brother, Murray. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 57 years, Sharon; his daughters, Janet and Rhonda (Jonathan); son, Gary (Jeanette); grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, Megan and Angela; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Marlene and Gordon Barr and Donna and Dave Hamm; and numerous other relatives. He will also be missed by special friends Rob and Colleen Annesley and their daughters Courtney, Kirsten and Tahnie, and Teresa and Todd Sjoberg. Flowers are gratefully declined. Expressions of sympathy can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
