Eugene “Gene” Thul

Eugene “Gene” Thul, aged 88 years of Moose Jaw, SK. and formerly of the Caron District, passed away Wednesday, January 26th, 2011.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 31st, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Father Rick Krofchek will officiate and Legion Rites will be conducted by the Caron Branch #301.  Burial of cremains will take place in St. John’s Cemetery, Marquis, SK. at a later date.  Gene was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Kate; his wife, Maxine; son-in-law, Wayne Heshka and brother-in-law, Earle McCartney.  Gene will be lovingly remembered by his son, Dennis; son, Robert (Cheryl); daughter, Maria; son, James; 4 grandchildren, Jade, Nicolle, Jordan & Dillan; sister, Trudy McCartney; brothers, Ray (Bea) and Gordon (Shirley); and numerous other relatives.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  Donations in Gene’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
