David Arthur Thompson
David Arthur Thompson of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 at the age of 70 years. A Memorial Tea will be held on Friday, January 23rd, 2009 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 268 High St. West in Moose Jaw, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Dave is survived by his wife Donalda McKinnon; his sons Darrell (Randi) Kirkby and Edward McKinnon; his daughter Leah (Guy) McKinnon; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers Clifford (Arlene) and Dwight (Darlene); 1 sister Evelyn (Al) Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dave was born in Moose Jaw on February 10th, 1938. He worked for the PFRA and later for Western Electric. Dave had many hobbies. He liked to play cribbage and listen to Country & Western music. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, collected antique radios, and he loved cats.
