Christopher Jay Thompson
Christopher Jay Thompson, aged 51 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021. He was predeceased by parents, Glen and Vera Thompson; brother, Bradley (Bob) Thompson; son, Cody Croker; and granddaughter, Cataleynia Storm Thompson. Chris is survived by his wife, Yvonne Doyle; his children: Brandon, Nyke, Trevor, Toby and Chloe; siblings, Pam Thompson and Lorraine (Barry) Primrose; as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Chris graduated from St. Peters Prevocational School in Muenster, SK. He worked as a truck driver for 28 years and painted letters on the tires of all the semis he drove. He loved seeing the country side and would often talk with family members while on the road. Chris collected die cast metal semis and heavy machinery. He enjoyed putting together model semis, going camping, and the art of tattooing. Most of all, Chris loved riding his bike. He was a man of many words, but he just kept them to himself.
A Celebration of Chris’ Life will be held on Friday, September 24th, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Michelle Ellis, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
