Joseph Thiele

Mr. Joe Thiele, aged 103 years of Moose Jaw, SK., passed  away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Extendicare Nursing Home.  The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 28th, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Al Rossler and Bonnie Jean Thiele-Hunt will co-officiate.  Joe was born on December 10, 1910 near Bayard, SK. And moved to Spring Valley in 1925 where he owned his own garage for 52 years.  He moved to Moose Jaw in 1989 where he has resided until his passing.  Joe had a great love of dancing.  Predeceased by his parents, brothers,  sisters and his wife of 67 years Brownie.  He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons Robert and Lloyd; daughter Ruth; grandson Trevor (Trudy); great-grandsons Jamie and Jaysen; sisters-in-law Vina and Gusta; his third son Tim and numerous other relatives and special friend Marie Wright.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made to Extendicare Moose Jaw Resident Council, 1151 Coteau St. West, Moose Jaw, SK., S6H 5G5 or to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
