Eva Victoria (nee Randall)

Eva Victoria (nee Randall) of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years on Wednesday, August 7th, 2013.  Victoria is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, John C. Thiele; sons, Barry Thiele and Randy (Debbie) Thiele; daughters, Joan (Gordon) Majeran and Jeanette (Raymond) Schade; grandchildren: Camille (Craig) Ells, Melanie Ward (Ray), Amanda Thiele, Yvonne (Basir) Saleh, Vanessa (Darwin) Giacchetta, Charla (Jordan) Schneider, Krista (Steve) Pederson, Christina (Kurt) Weber,  Jamie (Shanna) Thiele, Devon (Laura) Thiele, Janelle Ziegler and Blake Ziegler; and 18 great-grandchildren.  Victoria was born on March 6th, 1928 just outside of Bayard SK, where she grew up and attended Tranquility School.  She worked at the Providence Hospital before marrying John in 1946.  Together they farmed and raised their family just north of Spring Valley before moving to Moose Jaw, SK. in 1975.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 10th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave NW, Moose Jaw, SK.  A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, August 9th, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Memorial donations in Victoria’s name may be made to The Alzheimer Assoc., The Canadian Diabetes Assoc. or The Canadian Cancer Society.
