Goldie Janet Sullivan
Goldie Janet Sullivan (Nee Quale) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Wednesday, December 16th, 2009 at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 19th, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Pastor Bill Thomson will officiate. Goldie was born on February 26th, 1919 at Lang, Saskatchewan and married Clarence (Terry) in 1940. She loved her family and always enjoyed the times when they could get together for a special occasion or gathering. Goldie had a great passion for her teaching and has always kept in touch with many of her students. She lived her life to the fullest and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends. Goldie was predeceased by her parents Gilbert and Inga Quale; husband Terry; son Jim; daughter in law Donna; brother Elmer and sister Mabel. Goldie is survived by her sons Tom (Sharon) of Saskatoon, Sk., Donald (Jean) of Calgary, Ab., daughter Joan (Butch) Cooper of Calgary, Ab., sons Doug (Judy) of Moose Jaw, Sk., Bill (Linda) of Mossbank, Sk., and Alan (Jean) of Moose Jaw, Sk.; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; sister in law Tye (Stan) Grayson; brother in law Roy Sullivan; sister in law Edna Sullivan; numerous nieces and nephews and her devoted care giver Myla Magbiray.
