William “Buddy” Stewart Smith

William “Buddy” Stewart Smith, aged 63 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018.  Buddy was born in Moose Jaw and received his education at St. Margaret’s School and Albert E. Peacock High School.  He worked at Tolleson Construction and Cable Company and Manitoba Telephones.  Buddy played drums in a rock and roll band and had a passion for motorcycles.  He was very proud of his 2013 Indian motorcycle.  He was predeceased by his parents, William and Shirley Smith.  Buddy will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Jim (Elisabeth) and their son Daniel; sister, Susan (Dean) Mealing and their children Colin, Paul, Tyler, Megan, Aaron, and B.J.; as well as numerous other relatives.  A Celebration of Buddy’s Life will be held on Friday, May 11th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Buddy’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK S4T 7T1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
