She is survived by 3 sons, Jack (Carol), Jim (Marg) and Rob (Vel) all of Moose Jaw; 1 daughter Marion Jones of Saskatoon; 5 grandchildren Paul (Janet), Barb, Pattie (Dale), Leah and Michael and 3 great grandchildren Jaymes, Maddie and Austin. Mom was born in Moose Jaw on April 9th, 1911. She grew up on the farm and after getting her education, became a teacher. She loved the teaching profession and it was while she was positioned in Dysart in 1935, that she met her husband Ed. The majority of her years were spent farming in the Moose Jaw District. She thoroughly enjoyed farm life and took an active roll in the farming operation. Mom will be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother and friend. Her life revolved around her children, but no matter how busy, she always took time to help those less fortunate than herself. She had a very deep faith and a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin that carried her through many difficult times. Her interests were music, politics, the historical society and the church. As a family we would like to express our gratitude to Extendicare for their many years of kind service. In lieu of flowers donations in Mary’s name may be sent to the Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan Inc., 301 – 2550 12th Ave., Regina, Sask. S4P 3X1.
