Anna V. Smith

Anna V. Smith of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Friday, October 30th, 2009 at the age of 90 years. Anna was born in the Rockglen District on November 3rd, 1918. She moved to Moose Jaw at the age of 18. Anna married Jacob Smith on February 27th, 1942 and together they raised four children. She worked at Valley View centre from 1956 until 1979. Anna was predeceased by her husband Jacob Norman Smith in 1992 and her brother Paul Kaczmarski. She is survived by her children Penny Smith, Paula Smith, Ernest Smith all of Moose Jaw and Bonny (Ken) Stephens of Calgary; grandchildren Scott & Sandra Stephens, Cameron & Ryan Miller; great grandchildren Jacob & Katie Miller; her brother Victor Kaczmarski; her sisters Louise Gording, Norma Hanson, Marion Knops, Doreen Adamache, Evelyn Kelly and LaRene Kreft; numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Rev.
