Laura Evelyn Silzer

Laura Evelyn Silzer, aged 82 years of Moose Jaw, Sask., passed away on Tuesday, January 27th, 2009.  The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 31st, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Rev. Doug Shepherd will officiate.  Burial will take place at a later date.  Predeceased by her parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.  Laura will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years Ernie; her children: Gordon, Caroline (David) Burns, James (Marilyn), Jean (Al) Shiek, and Roland (Ruth); 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren;  brother Samuel Nordal; sister Hazel (Don) Stover and numerous other relatives.  In memory of Laura, memorials to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation of Saskatchewan, 103 Hospital Dr. Saskatoon, Sask., S7N 0W8 would be appreciated.
