Edward Adam Silzer
Edward Adam Silzer aged 88 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, with family by his side. Ed was born January 31st, 1936, to Charlie and Elsie Silzer in his family farm home in Lakenheath district in southern Saskatchewan. He was raised in a blended family of 16. Ed worked in the plumbing industry for 60+ years, with various other jobs along the way.
He was predeceased by his parents, 7 brothers and 4 sisters. Ed is survived by his wife, Phyllis; sons: Lyle, Terry, and Cameron; daughter, Adele Blair; and their families. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard and Otto (Jean); sister-in-law, Lorraine Silzer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 25th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Seaborg officiating. Those not able to attend may view the service by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Box 2414, Toronto, ON M4P 1E4.
