Howard John Shouldice
Howard John Shouldice passed away on January 30th, 2011 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born August 22nd, 1942 in Moose Jaw. He was predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Ruby; his brother, Gordon and his in-laws, Rolland and Yvonne Alain. Howie is survived by Simone, his loving wife of 44 years; daughters, Jody (Aaron) and Karlee (Donovan); and granddaughter Kyla. Also left to mourn his passing are sister, Elsie (Ken) Millar; sister-in-law, Vicki Shouldice; and Simone’s family, Mo (Gloria), Roger, Denis (Donna), Rosanne (Larry), Jeannine (Ted) and Lisa (Lauchie); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Howie worked for CP Rail for 31 years. He played fastball in his younger days, and had taken up golf and fishing in his retirement. He was passionate about watching sports, especially his Moose Jaw Warriors. A Celebration of Howie’s Life will be held on Saturday, February 5th, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK.
