Elsie May Seida
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Elsie May Seida, aged 79 years of Moose Jaw, SK on Monday, October 22nd, 2018. Elsie was born in Wawota, SK in February 1939 and was the eldest child born to William and Edna Baird. Elsie married Edward John Seida (deceased February 15th, 2002) on October 14th, 1955 in Regina, SK. They lived in Moose Jaw and were blessed with 5 boys: Jim (Brenda), Norman, Brian (Cindy), Raymond, and Kelly. Elsie was a hard working woman all of her life. She was always looking after everyone who visited the farm, making sure they were all cared for. Elsie always made sure her family had everything they needed. When it came to her boys, she was like a Mama Bear, always watching out for them. We will treasure and carry her memory all the days of our lives. Elsie is survived by her 5 boys; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers; as well as her sisters and brothers-in-law. A Celebration of Elsie’s Life will be held on Friday, October 26th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. A private family interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elsie’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
