Mary Sears
Mary Sears, aged 93 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020. Mary was born in Sceptre, SK and received her education there. She married George Sears on May 23rd, 1955 in Prelate, SK and together they raised 4 sons and a daughter. Being a military wife, Mary lived in various locations including Calgary AB, Germany, Wainwright AB, Petawawa ON and finally in Moose Jaw, where she has resided until her passing. She was a loving wife and mother with a very mild disposition. She loved her family get-togethers. Mary was very dedicated to her faith. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, George in 2010. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Douglas (Deb), David (Heather), Gary (Patti), and Gordon (Terry); daughter, Linda (Gary); grandchildren: Leesa (Kevin), Greg (Tanya), Leanne (Kevin), Gary (Amanda), Aimee (Brad), Tyler and Jerrod; and 8 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Pioneers Lodge for their dedicated service and quality care. Special thanks to Linda Sauer, we cannot express in words how much your companionship and care meant to our Mom. Due to the current health situation, a Private Family Service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Mary’s name may be made to the Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan, 301 – 2550 – 12th Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1. Very sorry to hear Aunt Mary has passed away but only found out yesterday
The Berger family were sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. Dad, (Frank) Mary’s brother just got the news from Aunt Rose this past weekend. Mom and dad (Frank and Vieno) have very fond memories of her. Our sympathy to Mary’s children and grandchildren.
