Carol Dianne Schultz

Carol Dianne Schultz, age 76 years of Moose Jaw, Sk. passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2016 with her family holding her hands, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. Carol was born September 8th, 1940 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. She attended school in Swift Current, Brooks, Medicine Hat, Saanich, Victoria, Burnaby and Coquitlam. Carol was always giving of her time, whether it be her family, her friends or her community. She generally worked in nursing homes and hospitals and that was quite fitting as she attended Kelsey Institute in Saskatoon to pursue her nursing certificate in the late 80’s. Carol also found a lot of joy in creating items with her quilting, ceramics and sewing which she went into with all her heart. Nothing was done without her going all in. Her love of people was evident in every aspect of her life. She seemed to be the hub of her family, keeping in close contact with extended family and keeping her immediate family close and in line. She married her high school sweetheart Terry in 1961 in Bellingham and they spent the first year of their marriage in Toronto. Carol and Terry proceeded to move to numerous locations throughout western Canada, including Burnaby, Kelowna, Grande Cache, Langham, and Calgary and so on to total approximately 27 moves. Life for them was never dull. They raised 3 boys and spent much of their time camping and travelling throughout the Rockies and into British Columbia with the ultimate destination usually being her brother or sisters place as well as many other good friends and family. Life was always an adventure. Carol was predeceased by herparents Allen & Fern Jorgenson, her loving husband Terry, her youngest son Kevin, her sister in law Dalerie, brothers in law Bob and Mike. She is survived by her brother Jim Jorgenson; her sister Pat Hanson (Delmer); her sister in law Nona Crowe (Larry); sister in law Ingrid; her sons: Dave & Darin (Christine), her daughter in law Deborah; her grandchildren: Melissa (Ben), Amber (Brendan), Matthew (Val), Rachel (Josh), Amanda (Dylan), Morgan and Ethan; great grandchildren, Hailey, Kanye, Skyler and Aliyah as well as many more dear friends and family. Our Mom and Dad can finally be together again. A Celebration of our Mom’s life will be held on Friday, December 16th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane, Moose Jaw. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate. Donations may be made to the ALS Society of Saskatchewan, 90 C Cavendish Street, Regina, SK S4N 5G7 in memory of our Dad whom our Mom loved with all her heart.
