Mabel Inez Schick

Mabel Inez Schick, aged 84 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away Sunday, September 30th, 2012.  The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 4th, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 15 Paul Drive, Moose Jaw, SK.  Reverend John Kreutzwieser will officiate and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery.  She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Inga Westgard; brothers: Clarence “Slim”, Art (Mary) and Ole (Eva); sisters: Bertha (Joe), Aggie (Steve) and Irene (Ted); in-laws: Bill (Jean) Schick, Tony (Dora) Schick, John Morhart and Anne (Lorne) Stafford.  Mabel will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Alfred; daughter, Bonnie (Wally) Forman; son, Keith (Rosemary) Schick; grandchildren: Wanda (Shaun), Marsha (Ryan), Paula (Steve), Sheila, Erik and Adam; great-grandchildren: Nolan, Preston, Jayda, Drew and Oaklan; sisters-in-law, Nora Westgard and Emma Morhart; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Mabel’s name may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Box 1376, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 4R3.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  James Murdock, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
