Frieda Marie Schaffer

Frieda Marie Schaffer, aged 92 years of Central Butte, SK, passed away Thursday, January 19th, 2012 in Indian Head, SK. Frieda was born on December 3rd, 1919 to Jacob and Ida Schaffer. Frieda was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Ida (nee Zimmerman); brothers, Ernie and John; sisters and brothers-in-law: Alma (Nic) Nicol, Ada (Kuno) Mohl, Elva (Jim) Hein and George Knoblauch; and nephew, Leslie Schaffer. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Josephine and Agnes of Indian Head; brother, Jake (Joan) of Central Butte; and by numerous nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service for all those who shared in Frieda’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 25th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Sunset Cemetery, with Pastor Marvin Seaborg officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery gates by 12:50 p.m. Donations in Frieda’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
