Valerie Mary Savoie (née Duzan)
Valerie was born September 17, 1963 to Ralph & Corinne Duzan. She was raised in Ormiston, Saskatchewan. She married Richard Savoie on September 8, 1984, they had three beautiful girls: Nicole, Kimberley and Krystal and a stepson, Rodney. Valerie also had five grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as a fur baby Marly. Valerie will be greatly missed by them all. Krystal passed away just a few short weeks after she was born in 1986, she also left behind two sisters Colette & Colleen and two brothers Dale & Greg and all their partners whom Valerie considered them brothers and sisters. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend great thanks to Dr. Rininsland, home care, the nurses at the dialysis unit at Dr. F.H Wigmore Regional Hospital and Madison from Careica Health Oxygen for the great care they provided Valerie over the years. Valerie passed away August 1 2023. A Celebration of Valerie’s Life will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate. Coming from Scotland, we didn’t know Valerie very well, but on the few occasions we met she made us feel very welcome and part of the family. She had that rare quality of instantly making you feel like a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who were close to her and will miss her very much. With love x
