Myrtle Irene Sapp
Myrtle Irene Sapp of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Extendicare on January 26th, 2012 at the age of 85 years. She was born in Toronto, Ontario on February 10th, 1926 and came out west with her parents in 1930. In 1949, Myrtle married Raymond Sapp and they shared the joy of farming until retiring to Moose Jaw in 1986. She was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Ida Eves; brothers, Gordon (Irma) and Howard (Hazel); and brothers-in-law, Ken Rogers and Tom Toddington. Myrtle will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Ray; sons, Daryl (Shelley) of Vegreville, AB and Dwayne (Paulette) of Moose Jaw; grandchildren: Brad, Darren (Heather), Leanne, Matthew and Kirsten; great-grandson, Rylan; sister, Doreen Rogers; sister-in-law, Aileen Toddington; and by several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 30th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Reverend John Carley will officiate and interment will take place in the family plot at Sunset Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
