Dwayne Leslie Sapp
Dwayne Leslie Sapp, aged 65 years of Moose Jaw, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dwayne was born in Moose Jaw and graduated from Peacock High School. He married Paulette Schaitel on October 8, 1977 and together they raised three children. Dwayne farmed with his father and worked at SIAST for 40 years until his retirement in 2013. Dwayne was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Myrtle; daughter, Leanne; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Peg Schaitel and his brother-in-law, Mike. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Paulette; son, Matthew (Megan) and their children, Averi and Kenzi; daughter, Kirsten (Roldane) and their daughter, Kia; brother, Daryl (Shelley); brothers-in-law, Marvin (Diane) and Perry (Paulette); sisters-in-law, Karen (Ken) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends. Due to restrictions regarding the current health situation, a Private Family Service will be held. Friends and Family are invited to view the Celebration of Dwayne’s Life virtually on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/. Sorry for your loss. I got to know Dwayne by working with him at SIAST and the many chats about minor hockey and the Warriors. It was always a pleasure to make the walk down to stores to see him and the others and have a chat. He always had a smile.

I was very sad to hear of Dwayne’s passing.
My heart goes out to the Entire Sapp family.
I worked around Dwayne for a long number of yrs. I delivered the inter government mail when he worked in shipping and recieving and had many a great laughs. I always looked forward to seeing him there. We had serious conversations!. As my wife and I were out and about we would run into Dwayne at CO-OP or where ever and he was always in a good mood with a smile to greet you. So my heart goes out to the Sapp Family

Dwayne will be so missed. His friendly, mischievous smile and the twinkle in his eye made every day better for so many of us at work. His stories about ‘mama, sonny and sis’ came up at many coffee breaks. Our families enjoyed rink life together watching our boys play hockey and keeping Kirsten entertained.
