Christine Saliger

Christine Saliger, aged 90 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13th, 2015.  Christine was born in Kunzendorf, Czechoslovakia on November 17th, 1924.  She came to Canada and married Walter in 1955 and they purchased their farm south of Moose Jaw in 1961.  Mom and Dad loved fishing, bowling and their trips to Europe and Hawaii.  She was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1999.  Christine will be missed by son, Joe (Roberta) and granddaughter, Karrin.  We would like to thank the caregivers at Extendicare.  In keeping with Christine’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Christine’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan Inc, 301-2550 – 12th Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
