Rose Sagal

Rose Sagal, nee TOMKOW, aged 86 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010 at the Union Hospital.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 27th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 – 3rd Ave. N.W., Moose Jaw.  Father Ken Miller will be presiding celebrant and interment will take place in the spring.  Rose was recently predeceased by her husband of 65 years, August in June of this year; her son, Christopher in 2001; and she fervently believed that her oldest son, Terry (missing since 2001) was still alive somewhere; now she knows for sure.  Rose was also predeceased by her parents, Jan & Anastasia; sisters, Annie, Mary and Josephine; brothers, Bronislav, Ludwick, Frank and Casmir; brothers-in-law, Bill, Amil, Walter and Herman; and sisters-in-law, Stephanie, Marguerete and Phyllis.  Rose will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brother, Joe Tomkow (Agnes); her children, Teresa Williams (Bob), Frank(Brenda), Anita Langford (Graham), Loretta Smith (Darrel), Michael (Kristin), Ron (Bev) and Jackie Lowe (Steve); 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rose’s name to The Moose Jaw Food Bank, 305 Fairford St. W., Moose Jaw, SK. S6H 1V8.
