Edna May Sadler
Edna May Sadler (McManus) passed away Sunday, May 20th, 2012 at the Central Butte Regency Manor Hospital. She was born May 23rd, 1916 in Dunblane, SK. She married Lester Sadler. Edna attended Teachers College in Saskatoon and taught school in the Maple Bush School House across the road from her farm. She enjoyed her garden – especially her marigolds, old time music, jokes and cards. She moved to Saskatoon and then returned to Central Butte, where she enjoyed living on the farm with her son and family. Edna’s final years were spent residing at Iver Main Place and Central Butte Regency Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, Lester and sister, Pearl. Edna will be lovingly remembered by her son, Art; grandchildren: Kenny, Corey (Krestia), and Jamie and his friend Joania; great-grandchildren: Jake, Jackson and Landon; special nephew, Dennis Stewart and special niece, Barb Sadler. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 25th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Reverend Doug Shepherd will officiate and interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Edna’s name may be made to the Central Butte Health Care Foundation, Box 582, Central Butte, SK S0H 0T0.
