Sheila Constance Root
After a day of celebrating many of her favourite things, Sheila Constance Root passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Saturday May 11th, 2024, at the age of 92 years. Sheila was predeceased by her loving husband, Douglas in 2016.

Sheila’s memory will be kept bright by her cherished children, Susan (Ron) and Robert (Linda); and her treasured grandchildren: Eric (Ashley) Elliott and Jasper, Braden, Brooklyn (Jordan) and Harper, and Clayton (Ashley).
Often seen with a rosary in her hand, Sheila prayed daily and had strong faith. She had a wonderful last day and beginning of everlasting life.
The family would like to thank Dr. Haver for his attentive and kind care for Sheila. Thank you to the staff and residents at Points West Living for embracing her into your family.

Sending our deepest condolences for the sudden passing of your dear mother. She will be sadly missed by your family and all that knew her. May God give you strength with each passing day.
Susan, Ron and family please accept our deepest condolences in the loss of such a special person, she was such a good friend to me and everyone at PWL, she was one of the first persons who welcomed my mother when she arrived at PWL and made sure she was looked after, I truly enjoyed the many bus trips I took with Shiela to Friday church service and downtown, she was always a trooper and never complained about anything, being positive was in her blood. She was such a go getter she was always making sure everyone else was looked after and thought of, I know PWL will never be the same without her. Take care and our thoughts are with you.
