Wigmore Regional Hospital, after a long struggle with heart disease and being diabetic for over 50 years. In all of those years he never once complained of the frustrations or struggles of having diabetes and being ill, he enjoyed his life to the fullest. Keith was born to Robert (Russ) Russell Rodgers and Minnie (Birch) in Gravelbourg, SK on August 19th, 1943. He was the second youngest in a family of five. He attended Pansy School until grade 8 then started farming with his dad and oldest brother. On April 23rd, 1966 Keith married Denise (Michel) of Coderre, SK and they had two children. In his 74 years, Keith farmed for most of those, operated a snow plow for the local snow plow club, was part owner/operator/head cook of the Coderre Hotel, and when he and Denise moved to Moose Jaw in 2009, he was the maintenance man for CTK Plastics. Anyone who knew Keith knows “he worked hard and played just as hard”. Everything Keith did he put 100% into it. Keith really enjoyed his time at the Coderre Hotel and CTK Plastics. He always had an interesting story that he enjoyed reminiscing about and sharing. He also enjoyed “coffee row” at the mall when his health wasn’t too bad. He always looked forward to seeing his grandchildren when they stopped by for a visit. He was predeceased by his parents; eldest brother, Ronald (Frank); brother, Gorden; youngest brother, Gary; nephew, Garth Rodgers; and step-grandson, Brent Adrian. Keith is survived by his wife of 52 years, Denise; daughter, Corinne (Ted Reed) of Gravelbourg, SK; son, Michael Rodgers of Winnipeg, MB; grandchildren: Tyler Reed (Joellene) of Gull Lake, SK, Jade (Kyle Larose) of Regina, SK, Christoper Reed (Jeana) of Saskatoon, SK, and Brian Reed (Jessica Mondor) of Gravelbourg, SK; six great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Tatterie of Nova Scotia; as well as several nieces and nephews, and long-time friends.
