Jean Rodgers
Jean Rodgers passed away peacefully in the presence of family on May 9th, 2016. Jean Duff Rodgers was born November 29, 1918. She married Bill Rodgers in 1947 and together they ran Redi-Cut Lumber for many years, building numerous houses in the Moose Jaw and surrounding area. Jean is predeceased by her husband Bill, her daughter Bonnie, grandson Derrick as well as by her sister Phyllis Meili and her brother Bruce Brander. She is survived by her son John (Gail); grandchildren: Jen (Mike), Dan (Melissa), Bill (Jill) and two great grandsons Logan and Eli. She is also survived by granddaughters; Tabatha (Ryan) Grace and Terri (Sky) Sorenson, great grandchildren; Andie, Zac, Zeda, Danica and Skyla (Colton). Great great grandson Harrison; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Jeans’ positive spirit, her ready smile and easy laughter will be missed by many. Special thanks to the staff of the Moose Jaw Hospital as well as the staff at Chateau St. Michaels for all their care. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 14th, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Shepherd officiating. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy donations in Jean’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
