Lynn Dolores Robertson
It is with great sadness that we announce Lynn Dolores Robertson passed away on Monday, April 26th, 2021 in Moose Jaw, SK. Lynn was born in Avonlea, SK to Cliff and Vera McRorie. She attended high school in Avonlea and went on to a long career as a Registered Nurse. Lynn will be remembered in Avonlea and area for her ready availability to provide nursing care to anyone who called. Her love of quilting has wrapped many friends and family in a warm embrace. She will be greatly missed by her best friend and partner in crime, sister Mavis, along with the longstanding group of coffee friends. Her love of humour, her ready smile, her playfulness and acceptance will be remembered by all.
She was predeceased by her parents, Vera and Cliff; brother, Lawrence; sister, Marian; son-in-law, Clint; and grandson, Brady. Lynn is survived by her husband of 64 years, Donald; sister, Mavis; daughters: Tracy (Kevin Ryan), Nancy (Bob), and Lori (John); grandchildren: Jesse, Dawson, Loewan, Kayden, Jillian and Evan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Lynn would be sad that we are unable to hold a gathering of friends and family, but due to Covid-19 restrictions a Private Ceremony will be held with immediate family. Friends and Family are invited to view the Celebration of Lynn’s Life virtually on Monday, May 3rd, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. by going to https://youtu.be/bzNqTlZ1wQo. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynn’s name may be made to the Avonlea United Church, PO Box 356, Avonlea, SK S0H 0C0 or a charity of one’s choice.
