Stella May Mary Reid
It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of Stella May Mary Reid (née: Buzinski), aged 84 years of Moose Jaw, SK on Saturday, June 13th, 2020.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith”
2 -Timothy 4:17
Stella was predeceased by her parents, Nick and Lena Buzinski; sister, Ann Roszell; and son-in-law, Gord Meacher.
Stella was a devoted Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandmother and friend. Her reason for waking each day was her boundless love for her family. Stella was a woman of deep faith and it was the presence of the Lord in her daily living that enabled her to handle dying with the same love, dignity and grace. Words cannot begin to express the void her loss will leave in our lives but Mom’s legacy will continue on through her children: Kim Lojek, Wendy (Gord) Meacher, Brenda (Ken) Humphrey, Lori aka Mavis” (Chris) Breault, and Jim (Michelle) Reid; grandchildren: Jody, Courtney, Jeffroy, Brittany, Brady, Monica, Austin, and Brandon; and her reason for smiling extra-long each and every day, her great-grandchildren: Katie, Shontaye, Charlie, and Brooks.
The family would like to thank Dr Rininsland for not only his expert medical attention, but his spiritual healing in Mom’s journey… You went above and beyond and mere words can’t begin to describe our gratitude and love for all you have done. To the staff at Pioneer Lodge on Memory Lane, each and every staff member were beyond compassionate, ensuring Mom was always comfortable and pain free. You made an unbearable situation much easier to endure for all. And lastly, to her “Angel on earth”, Katie. For one so young, the love, compassion and humour you provided to your GG was beyond measure and you can take heart in knowing you were her shining light on her darkest of days.
Due to the current health situation, a Private Family Service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Stella’s name may be made to the Arthritis Society, 110-2550 12th Ave, Regina SK S4P 3X1.
“LOVE YOU MORE MOM”
Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550

Brenda, Ken, and all your family. Our family wishes to express our deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma. I always had special feelings for Aunt Stella, as we used to visit her and her family, in my younger years, in Moose Jaw on many occasions. We were always greeted with a smiling happy Aunt. Stella was a wonderful person who will be missed by all. Jack and Pat Roszell and family.
