Dorothy Nora Polley
Dorothy Nora Polley, aged 85 years of Moose Jaw, SK and formerly of the Aquadell District, passed away Monday, January 10th, 2011. In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Service. Dorothy was born on the family farm in the Glen Kerr District. She married Ronald Polley on December 14th, 1945 and together they raised four daughters. Retiring from farming, they moved to Chaplin in 1980 and after her husband’s passing, she moved to Moose Jaw in 1984 where she has resided until her passing. Dorothy loved her family and was happiest when they were all together. She also enjoyed regular breakfast with her friends, dancing and traveling. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Katherine Neufeld; her husband, Ronald in 1983; sister, Lee and brother, Jim. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her four daughters, Myrna Wakeford, Valerie Loucks, Marlene (Tim) Fritzler and Joyce (Scott) Seitz; 7 grandchildren, Nick (Paulette) Wakeford, Wanda (Craig) Langer, Krystal Chow, Jeff (Jolene) Wilson, Tara (Dana) Craig, and Chad and Kyle Seitz; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence (Rose) Neufeld and Larry (Diane) Neufeld; and will also be lovingly remembered by Dale Loucks.
