Martyn Phillip Pewtner
It is with a heavy heart and fond memories that we announce the sudden passing of Martyn Phillip Pewtner, aged 47 years of Moose Jaw, SK. Martyn is survived and will be sorely missed by his devoted wife, Natasha; sons, Jorell (Stacey) and Jarred (Charlotte); mother, Janet; and brothers, Anthony (Bernie and sons) and Robert (Tracey and daughter). In addition, he will also be missed by the Westcan family and friends. Martyn was born March 5th, 1968 in Newport, South Wales, UK, but was raised and lived in Cape Town, South Africa. He can be described as someone that loved life to the fullest and lived it to the maximum. No task was too small or too big for him, he would bend over backwards to help anyone, no matter the task at hand. He was definitely a man with a heart of gold and for everyone that knew him, knows that there was not a bad bone in his body. He had an undeniable passion for motor bikes, which included his association and support towards the “Bikers Against Child Abuse” charity and also participated in the Moose Jaw “Toy Run” on two occasions. Martyn and Natasha moved to Canada in 2012 and have been living the Canadian dream, surrounded by amazing friends. Then in 2015, Martyn achieved the dream when he received his Permanent Residency status. He will truly be missed and remembered, not a day will go by that he is not in our hearts and thoughts. A Celebration of Martyn’s Life will be held on Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Friday, November 20th, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
